Dominique Cornin Beaujolais Blanc Bio 2018 is a remarkable white wine that stands out for its exceptional quality and expression of the Chardonnay grape. While Beaujolais is often associated with red wines made from Gamay, this particular wine showcases the region's lesser-known, yet equally impressive, white wine production.

The 2018 vintage of Dominique Cornin Beaujolais Blanc Bio features a pale golden color that sparkles in the glass. On the nose, it offers a bouquet of enticing aromas, including delicate white flowers, ripe citrus fruits, such as lemon and grapefruit, and subtle hints of stone fruits like peach and apricot.

Upon tasting, this Chardonnay reveals its full potential. The palate is greeted by a harmonious balance of flavors, combining the freshness of citrus fruits with the richness of stone fruits. Notes of crisp apple and pear add further complexity to the wine's profile. The texture is smooth and well-rounded, showcasing the wine's well-integrated acidity and a satisfying, lingering finish.

Domaine Dominique Cornin is a small domain in the Mâcon and has been owned by father Dominique and son Romain Cornin for some time. Together they manage their 10 hectares of vineyards around the village of Chaintré in the southernmost point of the Mâconnais, where it connects to the Beaujolais.
In 1998, the use of chemical pesticides was stopped. After having been successful with an experiment, they switched completely to organic and biodynamic viticulture in 2003. According to their method, a natural microbiological balance must be present in the soil. Because of this working method, their wines offer a very wide diversity and their different terroirs are beautifully reflected.
Only natural yeasts that are naturally present on the grape are used here during vinification, instead of the often used industrial ones. As a result, the different vineyards all have their own typical signature and they are very distinct in character.

Dominique Cornin is a renowned producer in the Mâcon region of Burgundy, known for producing high-quality white wines, particularly Pouilly-Fuissé. Beaujolais Blanc is not typically associated with Dominique Cornin.
